How it's Working for Them
We’ve worked with more than 1,700 employers across Britain over the years, offering opportunities for people to change their lives and helping businesses to grow.
We work with employers of all shapes and sizes, and all have a different story to tell.
Here’s a few of the organisations we’ve worked with – and what some of them have to say about our work with them.

Pendersons Group
National training provider Pendersons works closely with PeoplePlus to recruit the next generation of talent to the rail industry.
With the transport sector growing and the nation more connected than ever before, our railways have become increasingly important – and the country needs a workforce that’s up to scratch.
We work with Pendersons to deliver Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs), in association with the Department for Work and Pensions.
Our six-week programme gives new rail recruits all the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in their new industry. Candidates combine learning in employability, manual handling, fire awareness and first aid with practical work placements gaining on-the-ground training and essential qualifications to work in the railway sector.
The placement ends with a job interview at Pendersons, which works with some of the sector’s leading employers across the country. In giving potential new recruits the necessary experience and accredited qualifications, we’re helping to kickstart hundreds of new careers.
Amazon and the SRF
We work with Amazon across Britain to support people on their journey towards employment.
Amazon and the SRF
We work with Amazon across Britain to support people on their journey towards employment.
Through our Social Recruitment Framework (SRF), we developed a new employability programme to help unemployed people pick up new skills that Amazon were looking for and secured guaranteed interviews with the famous employer.
The course focused on the specific skills required to fill job roles alongside the soft skills that we know employers like Amazon are looking for.
Across all of Amazon’s sites, we and our SRF partner network delivered the employability and principles of warehousing training qualification to more than 1,700 people. All were given an interview, with 66% impressing to be offered a job with Amazon.
